Abby Anderson: A Short Play

Abby is often a shortened form of the Hebrew name Abigail, but can be a name in its own right. It means “gives joy.” The Urban Dictionary adds that “Abby” is the girl that is easily loved, a good friend, has a good time, and makes people laugh.

“Abby Anderson” is a short play inspired by Edgar Allen Poe’s short story “William Wilson.”

This short play premiered at “Stage Fright: A Northern Arizona Playwriting Showcase Special Event” at Theatrikos Theatre Company in Flagstaff, Arizona on October 26, 2017.

This is a unique play inspired by the subject matter it contains. Read it here as a PDF: AbbyAndersonplay
